Café Manager

What we are looking for:

• An energetic food enthusiast to implement (i.e. train our staff) a new menu in Café Vida.
• Proven experience is essential, with a particular interest in simple, healthy fresh foods.
• We need someone who has enough experience to work independently.
• Someone who loves interacting with people
• Someone who pays high attention to detail in particular cleanliness and good customer service.
• Great numerical ability.
• Bilingual – Spanish is essential

Tour Guide

In December of this year Bigfoot is aiming to start a small tour and transportation company within the region. As with anything we will start small and over time continue to grow. Our main focus will be taking people to areas of natural beauty in and around nature reserves. We are looking for one and possibly two full-time tour guides.

What we are looking for:

• An enthusiastic and adventurous outdoor person.
• Great communication and interpersonal capabilities.
• Preferably bilingual (English and Spanish).
• Experience living and working in Latin America.
• Great organisational skills.
• Motivated to make a positive change in the lives of people and environment thus helping to take Bigfoot closer to its goals of becoming more sustainable.
• Interest and experience with natural systems, from and academic or practical point of view would be an asset.
• Experience as a guide or in similar type of role where you have to deal with many different people.
• Experience in the tourism or customer service industry.

Volcano Boarding Guide

We are ready to increase and diversify our services at Bigfoot. For this reason we are looking for a full-time volcano boarding guide to take over and enhance our unique volcano boarding tour.

What we are looking for:

• Someone fit, energetic and adventurous.
• Some with great people skills who not afraid of public speaking.
• Someone with great organisational abilities.
• Someone with experience travelling and preferably living in a hot tropical climate thus capable of spending many hours in the heat.
• Someone who is not afraid of heights.
• Practical skills such as carpentry or experience with other adventure sports would be a great asset.
• A minimum commitment of 3 months
